How is the board set up?
Each player starts with four horses in the yard. The shared track has 52 spaces, followed by each player's home lane. ChessPlayX uses two dice and a fixed initial seat order, rather than one-die international Ludo rules.
What can you do on your turn?
Enter the board
A 1, a 6, or doubles let you bring a horse out of its yard.
Move
Move one horse by the total of both dice.
Extra turn
Rolling doubles gives you another turn.
Capture
Land on an opposing horse to return it to its yard.
Home stretch
Complete the circuit, then climb your own home lane.
Win
Be the first to bring all four horses home.
Deploy, race and capture
A 1, a 6 or a double allows deployment. Advance a horse by the dice total. Own horses block progress; landing on an opponent sends it to its yard. Follow the available legal actions for exact home entry.
Extra turn and victory
Doubles grant another turn. Home targets are filled in order from deepest to shallowest. Bringing all four horses home wins. These rules are the published platform variant, since local Ludo customs differ.
What should beginners watch for?
Check every space on the route, not only the destination. In this variant, neither friendly nor opposing horses can be jumped over.
