How is the board set up?
Each player begins at GO with 1,500 in game money. All properties start unowned. ChessPlayX starts with the first seat and uses the displayed order; moving past or landing on GO normally collects 200.
What can you do on your turn?
Movement
Roll two dice and move by their total.
Buy property
Buy an unowned property or let it go to auction.
Rent
Pay the required rent when landing on an opponent's unmortgaged property.
Build
Complete a colour group and build evenly to raise rents.
Cards
Draw Chance or Community Chest and follow the card.
Bankruptcy
Sell or mortgage assets to pay debts, or declare bankruptcy.
Buy, auction and build
An unowned property may be bought or sent to auction. Build evenly across an owned colour group. Mortgaged property earns no rent. Selling buildings and mortgaging property can help cover a debt.
Trade, jail and bankruptcy
A trade is effective only when the recipient accepts. Jail has separate dice, bail and card choices. If you cannot settle a debt, declare bankruptcy. The last solvent player wins.
What should beginners watch for?
Keep enough cash for rent and taxes. Owning valuable property does not settle a debt until you can raise the required cash through the available actions.
